PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Welcome 2021!!!
Happy New Year! Much like everyone else I am excited to put last year behind
us and move on with the hope & wonder that only a new year can provide.
COVID-19 continues to pose us with challenges operationally. Like so many
others in our communities, Jolt staff have been impacted by school districts
ALAN WATSON choosing remote learning and required quarantine situations. My apologies
President/CEO if you have been negatively impacted by the temporary closure of a branch
or drive thru only service. I am grateful for your continued patience and
kindness to our employees; it certainly has not gone unnoticed.
I am very proud of the good deeds done by our staff in the days leading up to Christmas. They kicked it
up a notch by creating a program called, “Jolt Joy: Celebrating the Holidays” and helped to make things
a little brighter for children, adults, families and even furry friends by showing our support to Marine
Toys for Tots (toys), Boys and Girls Club (winter apparel), several area food pantries, Amazing Grace
Animal Shelter (abandoned pets) and the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption’s Community Breakfast
program (undergarments for attendees). In addition to all this, Jolt sponsored the Diocese of Saginaw’s
Christmas Day mass that was televised live by TV5 and celebrated by The Most Reverend Bishop Robert
Gruss at our beautiful Cathedral. With so many people choosing to not attend in-person services, it
was a perfect way to further serve our community. I hope you all had a safe Merry Christmas!
I wish our members and their families health, joy, and success for 2021.
Be well!
Alan
